Beware of scorning the obesse and the smoker for their addictions are in plain view for the beliver and the non-beliver to openly judge and condem. Not all people are suddenly healed of all of their addictions, and many have suffered long at the hands of the evil one...
Humility is grace, and to be under grace is to aknowlage that our righteousness is as filthy rags. To live with a humble heart is better than to put one's self up higher than one's brother/sister and proclaim my righteousness is better than yours because look at the filth of your unhealed addiction. I surely must have more faith than you, because Im privilaged to be free from all visible addictions, though in secret I drink alcohol daily, use drugs daily, fornicate, vomit, or sarve myself, view porn, and by all outward appearances appear clean and pure in my own eyes and of all people around me. For a self righteous attitude is one that separates one from the living G_d.
