12-30-2007, 12:34 PM La Susa Joined on 12-30-2007 Posts 10 Scripture and health... The world is concerned, obsessed with health and fitness as each new dietary fad is proclaimed on the housetops! Why are so many Christians following the world's concepts? Is not to be Christian to be separate from the world? And rely on Jesus, and the church elders for health! Isn't it written that when one becomes ill, to go to church and allow the church elders to pray and lay hands on the ill? Why then do we (myself included) embrase secular thinking and make a mad dash to one's primary care physician? And you know though he/she may wear a white coat and appear almost like a preist, dose he/she even proclaim/believe in Jesus as the Christ? And yet we treat them in such high regard.....    Report
