06-03-2008, 6:43 PM psalm27 Joined on 07-23-2006 Posts 2 Both I use the KJV but I also have a NIV...I use them both....I usually use the KJV and make a mental note to consult the NIV on anything I am having trouble understanding....Reading the Bible used to frustrate me..I would read passages over and over, but I just wouldn't get it...Now I read the NIV version if I can't comprehend the KJV...I think it is okay to read them both...If it helps you to better understand the word..I dont think there is anything wrong with the NIV version....    Report

I use the KJV, Amplified and NKJV. I also found the RSV was very similar to the KJV and wish I had not lost that one.    Report
