Church and Divorce
Reply Quote
I believe divorce in a christian setting should be acceptable under circumstances of infidility. Divorce rates are possibly high within the church, because most people want to be married to a christian, and go to church looking for a husband, and/or wife and find out it's the same as marrying a non-christian, and/or outsider. Relationship, is something that is built upon, whether christian or non-christian, within or outside the church. People tend to be looking for an already "so they think" made marriage, something they think need no application, and from my perspective this could be a problem. I call it, looking for love in all the wrong places, we should be looking to Christ, and if it's in his will for you to be married, the holy spirit will led, and guide you there. But, as people of God, we're not willing to wait. Psalm 27 simply state" Wait on the Lord, be of good courage and he shall strengthen thine heart: Wait I say on the Lord!
