it is part of good stewardship and the responsibility of being a good citizen! The type of Government we have is, "for the people and by the people..." We have a Republic style of govenment, which means, the rule of law, and a representative type of govt. based on a passage in Exodus and elsewhere!
In fact our Government was founded on and based upon biblical principles. And that includes the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and even the Bill of Rights! Remember, for evil to succeed, is when good people do nothing. Abortion, same sex marriages become law, "hate speech" laws that take away our First Amendment rights of free speech. And possibly end up in jail! [They already have such laws in places such as: Great Britain, Sweden, Canada and Australia.
