10-27-2008, 1:02 PM pdreed28 Joined on 10-27-2008 Posts 5 yes its gross We are so pathetic because we feel we can't do anything without a christian president, a christian supreme court, you name it...When I read the bible the nations they lived in or where ruled by were almost never a godly nation with the same values and morals and when they were able to have their own nation with one religion they always managed to screw it up. The truth is we need to passionately serve our community out of the greatest force God gave us...the local church. I am not saying to vote for whoever and that you shouldn't strongly consider voting for someone that shares your values but I am saying we have gotten overly political rather than relationship and community based...the political side of life will flow out of our original purpose because your gift will make room for you in the prescence of kings. I promise you that you start feeding hungry children, caring for widows, clothing the homeless, someone will take notice and you will find yourself with political influence.    Report
