What happened to staying steadfast with one spouse?
Reply Quote

I think we have gotten away from working through things and have taken the Hollywood mentality.  (Bouncing around from partner to partner...  Spouse to Spouse)

The bible says if your spouse isn't saved that you should be the person praying to try and get him/her saved.  It will happen for some if we pray and seek God.  Some people aren't going to change quite naturally, but we should still keep praying for him/her and keep your commitment to your marital duties.

In my opinion, if a spouse is endangering your life or your children's lives, then you should quickly get away.  If infidelity is a factor you should leave.  (Biblical)
