Gosh! Sitting here just thinking about the college years and post college years...
Wow! Those were some very fun and exciting moments in my life. I didn't care about much, didn't think about many consequences, lived for just the present, and didn't dare to think about what could possibly be around the corner for me.
We "Bobby Qued" as much as we could, drank as much as we could, and got into a whole lot of other things that could have probably cost us our lives.
After graduating high school many of us think that it's time to "Live it UP." Right? We go into our college years hitting party after party, club after club, and just having a Good ole' time...
Man those were the years...
Some of us are still saying that very thing.... ("Man those were the years")
Some of us are still partying like we have just graduated from high school. (Not truly moving into true adulthood and being what God has called us to be)
I look back and think..... HMMM...
What if God would have called my ticket to come home while I was enjoying my so called "Livin' it Up Moments?"
Would He let me slide because it's the typical thing to do in college and slightly past post college years?
Unfortunately, He won't change His word to accomodate what stages we are going through in our lives. If He did, then He would be a LIAR... He is mostly definitely NOT a LIAR...
One of my college room dawgs was called home early.... Ya see...
You never know...
He was robbed and killed in ATL. (His hometown) After he graduated college...
Probably just doing a little post graduation partying and (Livin it Up)...
(By the way, this young man was an awesome organist)

People can make it sweet sounding as they want to, but if you aren't living right when the Lord calls for you, then....
You figure out the rest...
Party all you want to and take a chance on gambling with your soul...
I would strongly suggest that you reconsider while the blood is still flowing in your body. Some people got an early exit while returning from the party or while at the party...
Go ahead and secure your seat for the eternal party, with Jesus Christ in Heaven....!!!

Some people didn't make it home...!!! Just take a moment to think about it....
Since we are smarter and know that a second chance isn't promised, then help yourself and others pursue being properly aligned with Christ!!!
