We use the Amplified bible for everyday reading but when studying I use several, The Amplified, The NIV, and The New King James

I prefer the NKJV, but I keep in mind that there are slight differences between this version and the KJV and in certain cases I will refer back to the KJV. The Amplified is good as well for scripture expansion. This(bible versions) is one area that we need to be really aware of, I feel.
