I just knew I wanted to be married like my friends. Now my husband is in prison for life. I now know more about the Lord and am still learning and growing closer to Him. But what I want to know is, is it wrong to get a divorce and one day get remarried?    Report

I am not going to give you any advice. All I am going to say is that you need to listen for God's direction. I know people say that all the time and I used to get so angry because I felt like I was not able to hear from Him and I wanted out of my situation so desprately. The marriage that I am in and have been in for almost three years is not good for me and as I begged God to get this man out of my life for years before I married Him honey I was not listening to God. He went to jail so many times and all I had to do was leave him then, but I listed to him more than I listened to God. If after fasting and prayer you believe that it is best for you to divorce then do it. If you do it and it is not God's will then He will forgive you for that, but you have got to work out your own soul salvation and please don't get caught up listening to everybodies opinion. Even those you trust and who mean well.    Report
