01-17-2007, 4:55 PM martin_nwosu@yahoo.com Joined on 04-14-2006 Posts 18 Race Relations Today I have taken my time to see if i could see the term"Race" in the Bible but rather what often reflect in my Bible are NATIONS,TRIBES AND KINGDOMS. I am beginning to think that RACE is an ideology of the WORLD to which the Bible says we are not of. In the beginning of Creation, GOD made man male or Female. He did not distinguish man as either White or Black or Brown or Yellow but classified man according to Nation, Kingdom or Tribes. The responsibilty of the Church would rather be to reflect the mind of GOD by preaching the gospel as it is written and leave the rest for GOD to accomplish. No man comes nearer to GOD except he draws him to knowing HIM. So if the WORLD refuses to change the WORD that has been preached stands in testimony against them.    Report

When my church comes together in a world wide meeting every two years God seems to be there in a way that doesnt take place in the local fellowship. its about unity. When they were in one accord the Holy Spirit fell.    Report

God warned His people to not marry with other tribes because they were heathen. This wasn't about reace it was about "religion and their belief sisterm". God knew that if His people married outside of His people it meant they were unequily yoked with unbelivers,a nd that they would embrace their relegion and worship there idols. Like in the case of Soloman and Aheb who married Jazebel. The new testament also talks about being yoked to unbeleivers. With God, it's always been about relegion sistem not race.    Report
