It was an experience I soon will not forget. I heard much boasting, condemning, and self-rightousness. My heart was broken for the sake of my Lord and Saviour. The boasting of the first lady went on for at least 15 min. They spoke on how the saints are not to shop for her at macy's or value city but at sak's! I will not go any further at this time. However I will leave post through out this site on how this church is not serving God according to His will! I will pray first and foremost that Gods will be done above all else!    Report

If it is boasting in the Lord..and giving testimony of a prosperity He has blessed us to have, I believe its ok.  Now, when you become so 'attached' to your prosperity that you begin to look down on things as beneath you, then the enemy has perverted that boasting into pride. Even our pastors and prophets can be found guilty of such things-no one is exempt. Thus we should extend the same heart of forgiveness for their transgression as we do all others. I pray God would touch this ministry to appreciate every gift, large and small. For as Jesus said of the widow's two mites, she gave out of her need (value city) so that made her offering greater than those who gave out of their abundance(saks).    Report

God never promised lots of money. if it was about money and things i wouldnt need it. its about loving God, and loving people. i dont have to be bribed by pastors or "prophets" to do that. it has never been about what God will do for you, its about what he did for you on the cross and what you can do for the kingdom. the prosperity message has been taken out of context and is wrong.    Report
