Ministry Description
Liberty Temple Baptist Church is a Bible-centered body of Believers who through the preaching and teaching of the Gospel are committed and excited to evangelize the word of God. We have a 2000+ membership with 50+ ministries focused on the continued building of God’s Kingdom. Located in the heart of one of Detroit’s thriving communities, our Outreach Ministry is actively partnering with local businesses to ensure community development is on-going as well as keeping the community informed and invited to church activities. In addition to supporting various community awareness events in the City, we sent a delegation to support the cleanup efforts in New Orleans, LA., after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, and marched to support the Jena Six. Matthew 28: 18-20 (The Great Commission) teaches us that we are called to prophesize his goodness and mercy, and share with others the importance of being saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. As we strive to go from “GOOD TO GREAT IN 2008” it is our prayer that God will continue to shine his goodness and mercy on us all. KEEP LOOKIN’ UP!!!
