Millions Around The World Mourn Michael Jackson
from Staff and Wire Reports

Music fans around the world were still in a state of shock Friday following Michael Jackson's stunning death Thursday afternoon. Jackson left behind an amazing legacy as an entertainer, but he will also be remembered for his unusual personal life.

The music icon, whose career spanned a lifetime, is moving fans in death just as he did in life.

"He was just the leader of dance, music," Tina Allen, a Jackson fan said. "I mean his "Off the Wall" album was fantastic, "Bad" was obviously very good. I think he was ahead of his time."

A fan also reacted from Jackson's infamous California Neverland ranch. "I just didn't realize that he was sick or anything," Brian Kesteleyn said. From Hollywood's Walk of Fame to even the L.A. coroner's office fans are mourning.

"I heard in the news that they were bringing Michael Jackson to USC coroner's office and I got in my car and as I was driving I saw the helicopter slow down and land on the roof," Irma Marquez said. "It made me very sad."

Scores of Jackson's fans felt compelled to gather and remember the man who constantly reinvented himself, while entertaining and inspiring people of all ages around the world.

"He was always a star, and the way he performed," Betty Wilson said. "I've seen him in concert many times. He was just a great performer."

"I had my heart set on the red leather jacket, but I could only afford the red pleather jacket and wore the Jackson glove," Dan Sunjata said.  "I was a total Michael Jackson geek growing up." Jackson family friend Rosie Perez called Michael's death "horribly sad."

While allegations of child molestation harmed his career in the states, overseas Jackson remained popular. He was preparing a series of 50 concerts set to kick off in London in an effort to restore the luster to his career. Jackson's death immediately made headlines across the globe. The album "Thriller" sold an estimated 50 million copies and perhaps was the highlight of Jackson's solo career.

While Jackson grew up a devout Jehovah's Witness, Jackson's religious affiliations later in life are unclear.

Officials believe Jackson died of a heart attack.  An autopsy is planned though results will likely take days or weeks as the medical examiner waits for toxicology reports.  Los Angeles Police Department detectives are investigating his death, which is standard procedure in high-profile cases.

It goes back to scripture. What if man gains the whole world. In a sense MJ did that. I pray and hope the reports are true. Micheal did, for the most part rose to the top making clean music. MJ is a year older than I so he is major memory for my life. But for MJ, you and I there is an appointment and after that JUDGEMENT.

Lastly, one my Pastor said over ten years ago has stuck with me forever. That is of all the many promises and blessings THE LORD has the beleiver, TOMORROW is not one of them!

What is life but a vapor; Time is short. Life is short

God bless everyone

As is the case with millions of people, Christians included, I am saddened by the sudden and tragic passing of Michael Jackson. I grew up listening, dancing & singing to his (and Janet's) music for a number of years. His talent is unmatched, and the world will never see such original talent again. Having said that, I took note of an e-mail that was referenced across the web reagrding MJ's allegedly receiving salvation three weeks before his passing. It was said, in part, that Andrae & Sandra Crouch took time to speak with MJ and that the meeting culminated in him entering heaven upon his death. While I wish for him, and others, to meet Jesus face to face after this life, we CANNOT forego or otherwise ignore what God Himself outlined in scripture conerning salvation.

Please take time to read this link http://apostasywatch.com/special/idolsgotoheaven.htm that has successfully challenged this assertion. My goal with posting this is to simply have Christians do the necessary research to verify widely held claims before they spread any further--mainly see what scripture has to say. There is already enough rumor and innuendo circulating around MJ's death and his other posthumous affairs than to contribute additional, likely untrue, fodder.

Gospel duo Mary Mary posted a message on their Facebook, that Michael Jackson gave his life to Christ just over 3 weeks ago. During a visit from Gospel Legends Andre and Sandra Crouch, whom were friends with Michael Jackson, Praise God!!!

Mr. Jackson needs our prayers for his mother and children and others. These children have been safe and now new organizations are making a big issue of whom going to care for them. Families have always taken care of each other good or bad. The grandmother and others are all apart in assuring the family is safe. Growing up in the South this is what we have done. What is being said with such disrespect is the age of Michael’s mother and things that are so disrespectful. I hope that someone could stop the hateful new reports and try to look at him, as a human being not this thing.
I see Gods world as peaceful. Mr. Jackson sung words of love and hope; it was from the heart almost as if he was trying to tell us to pay attention. I GET IT, THE EARTH SUNG, BLACK OR WHITE AND MANY MORE.
WHAT ABOUT YOU!

Thursday I sat 7 hours, stunned in shock and disbelief as I went from MSNBC to CNN and from CNN to MSNBC. I couldn't believe it. I loved him, it broke my heart, I felt like someone in the family died. You'd have to be on another planet not to have heard one of MJ's or the Jacksons Five sons. In a way, they are an American Music Royalty. (They are also a prime example of a Rags to Riches story).

So, we as christian's have to pray that his family will look to GOD for strnength and guidance at this time and the time to come. MJ's Life has been lived, the bad , the good and the ugly. Nothing will be able to bring him back. But, no doubt he will be missed and always loved.

Im saddened my the tragic and sudden death of Michael Jackson. I remember Michael and the Jackson Five, for as long as I remembered myself. Diana Ross Tv specials and she singing 'Reach Out and Touch' and then one show young michael stealing the microphone and rocking the mic with his rendition.

back then in the 7o's, Afro-Americans were very rarily on TV and when they were Big Mama, Mama and daddy the whole family was glued to the TV. ( with the rabbit ear antennas) lol.

He was born entertaining, unfortunately what he Loved caused his early demise. His fans killed him and the love of stardom. He was told he was the 'goldenboy'and he was. The fans wanted him, more and more of him, more songs, more appearances. Until they killed him.

Stress and pressure of Stardom and pop success took him away. He wasn't able to transition as did his brothers; quietly out of the limelight.....

He lived and breathed the limelight, the applause, the adoration. In his mind, he was a real KING (notice the outfits, the royal jackets, his demeanor and glove). and we, the world, his fans, were his loyal subjects.

His fans made him a idol something God hates. So he had to do another album and every album had to be better then the last one, every dance step had to be better more exceptional then the last tour. Yes the applause that he loved also killed him. Not the drugs, not the plastic surgery's, but Idolatry. His need to be worshipped and idolized and immortalized. But at what price?

Long, long ago an audience was presented with a innocent black boy, perfect , angelic like. A whole and joyous son, who sung into our hearts, ABC and some watched entranced as their idolatry created a lost and broken person. Soon in their sunglasses and gloves, they will gather for his funeral brimming with sorrow. After their respects have been paid On goes the fans looking for another stardom victim to victimize..

If you really look at his last album there was one song with a video that demostrated the destruction of the world and he was making a request to God and immediately there was restruction of everything. Cities were destroyed, forest burned and plode down, total mass destruction. Michael fell to the ground pleading and when he looked up everything began to come back together. The video was so unique that I could not continue where I was going without viewing this video and the words to the song. It show every country, nations and America totally being restored. Very spiritual, I believe the making of this video was his amends with God. I believe God gives us a chance to get it right, I believe God lets us know when it is our time to depart this world and he prepares us for the entering of our new world. Michael Jackson went through some things that we have no idea in what it feels like. No one will ever know how and what he really went through in this earth. But I can honestly say today, Micheal Jackson is FREE AT LAST! He has over come the world, no more worries, hurts, heartaches and pains, he is Free. Thank God almighty he is FREE AT LAST. May God keep his family and children in their time of grief. Everyone, please keep this family in your prayers.

God Bless

Please stop- with the child molestation case reminders. Stop with the face and surgery issues. Look at the enter sprit. Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared. (Buddha)Mr. Jackson will remain the candle. He just a man, just a human being but he was a force of nature that no one can compare. He was loved by me and my family. He was a black man that lived a life that he tried to do what he could to make life better. We needed to see him not the evil reminders of a life we know nothing of.
I pray for his family and his mother. I could not imagine losing my son and he is 29 years of age. I could imagine losing any of my children. So let pray for their family let pray for what he give us. God always give us gifts he was a gift of life with a message. Forgive those who took something good and tried to destroy it.

I hope he got a chance to get things straight between him and God. I believe he was happiest when he was performing. In his personal life I believe there was a lot of struggle with his inner man. However, there are few entertainer that could hold a candle to him. He set records in the singing, dancing and fashion. His music was universal, unlike some the music we have now, you didn't have to screen it before you let your kids listen to it.
