I expected to hear something else from Carrie since she no longer has to answer to the Miss America Pageant anymore. I knew another opportunity would come for her to speak. I pray she will use this opportunity to glorify God.

Mixed emotions is what I had when Former Miss California Carrie Prejean spoke out for marriage to be a lifetime commitmment and covenant between a man and a woman, instead of between Harry & Barry or between Cherry & Mary i.e. between two people of the same gender (and the world is even talking about a man and two women now). Mixed emotions because all of a sudden a young woman whose lifetsyle had, for a Christian, some questionable qualities.
How is it, I wondered, that Carrie was all of a sudden launched as a celebrety, though her theology and remarks about not being against 'gays' need correction, instead of adoption by the church.
How is it that people cheered as if Carrie had said something unique. True, within the pageant-world, that worldly display of female human flesh, it was a different voice.

And I applaud Carrie for that. But apart from that, Carrie had conformed to the whole pageant circus, rather than to Christ!
So let us not get overboard with her. She has much maturing and conforming to Christ to do!
That she has now been offered a book-contract to write her side of the story, is great for her as an opportunity to "Tell It All!" But is it so great? Again I have mixed emotions! It ís great íf she cán truelly tell it all, and her words are not edited in a way the publisher wants the story to come out. BOUND BY A CONTRACT could be a way to control her! It is great íf the publisher is not just motivated by PROFIT, which I am sure is it's main motivation (They never came to me to obtain the right to publish my book "Is Allah God?" ..because they see no profit. 'Who are you, they would say?' Had I been in the news like Carrie, they would run to me. It's all about MONEY! 'The root of evil is the LOVE of MONEY,' Scripture says) but by a sincere desire for Carrie to tell het story as it is. With nó agenda from the publisher to exploit her story to promote a world-view that is not Biblical. I hope Carrie is helped by mature, true Christians, to tell her story and her opionions in a Biblically sound way!

By the way: I do not believe in gays; I believe in gay! Homosexuals stole that word, and made it into something it is not! Satan is a master is of deception and corruption! Christians should resist his language corruption. Gay means happy, merry. Gay does NOT mean homosexual! They are the furthest thing from happy! They are driven by their carnal passions and the homosexual demons that they have submitted, and are most likely bound to. Jesus calls them slaves! (John 8) They are not free! They are not happy. They wear masks. Dr. Lorraine Day, in her excellent book "AIDS What the government isn't telling you" talks about the scene where homosexuals have sex in a bookstore in San Francisco through a hole in the wall - they do not know who they are doing it with! YES! It is thát bad.
And it is getting worse, far far worse. Because the church does not resist and does not stand up according to the will of God! They are too concerned with the things of this world...materialism, acceptance by this world...

1 John 2: 15-17 says: "Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. "
It is sad that Carrie stands out now... simply because most Christians have allowed themselves to be cornered and silenced by the devil's pawns! It is truelly sad. We MUST REPENT of our cowardice before we are thrown into the Lake that Burns with Fire and Brimstone! For thát is where the fearfull end! (Rev. 21:8) Fearfullness is now the mark of most of what calls itself Christian! If we remain fearful despite the fact that "God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." (2 Tim.1:7) If you do not experience this, turn to God, repent of your fearfullness and pray for Jesus Christ to give you and fill you with the Holy Spirit! And if you have not (yet) been born again, which makes you a child of God - as God's children are not just born of man, but of God (John 1:12,13) - and which is a prerequisite for receiving the Holy Spirit from Jesus Christ - than ask Him this, UNTIL you KNOW He has done it, and you are no longer the same, but have become a new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 5:17)
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." So, why should we confom to that world which is the OLD? The world has NOTHING to offer us. We have everything to offer the world. So, bow our knees to God, but STAND up and take a stand against the world and the devil!
James 4: 7: "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."
