walking on the path to healing-
My pastor preached a sermon on healing about a month ago. I had almost forgotten the times in the past where God had healed me-from epilepsy, and from a crushed finger.
This time my healing has not been immediate. It is a process that has begun. I have severe tmj, among other ailments. The tmj that I have has caused me to set aside music almost completely. I have not been able to sing without pain for years. Not only that, but to talk for long, or eat certain foods. I have been in the ER many times because, as my headaches would worsen, I would began to vomit, and could not stop.
I had gotten to the point where I was taking 8 ibprofens a day. It has been 2 weeks since I have taken any pain relievers. It's been a process to allow God to grow my faith to where it is now. And I know that God will completely heal my body so that I can continue to do his will. I have been singing, my jaw may still get tired, but it does not inhibit my singing like it did. He is healing me in proportion to my faith. I believe healing is for everyone. When in the Bible did Jesus refuse to heal someone? And doesn't everything in the Christian walk come by faith? We serve a good God, huh?
