Sherry and I were married on May 30, 1969. She was saved as a little girl at 5 years of age. It was much later in life for me. I was brought up in church and always believed in God. When I was 25 years of age, the Lord began to deal with me and on May 27, 1972, I got born again. Six months later, in the month of November, I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit and two days later God called me to preach. At the exact same time, God spoke to Sherry and told her that He was calling me into the ministry. He told her that she was to be by my side as a helpmate for me. Thank God she has been faithful and has encouraged me along the way. Now more than 30 years have come and gone in the ministry. Today we have an even greater desire to see people’s lives changed by the power of God. We’re thankful to all the faithful people who have believed in us and stood with us throughout the years. We have two sons, Philip and Wesley, who have also been called to preach and are involved in the ministry with us. They and their wives have given us five beautiful grandchildren that we love very much. To the grandkids we are known as Paw Paw and Granny.
