Emmanuel Baptist Church is one of the most prestigious and influential churches in Colorado Springs. Under the leadership of the church’s Senior Pastor, The Reverend Cleveland A. Thompson, Emmanuel has evolved into the model of progressive thinking within the traditional African American Baptist church. In addition to a professional-grade music program, Emmanuel supports an aggressive array of growth and support ministries, including a proactive AIDS ministry, Habitat For Humanity, Share Colorado, Prison Fellowship and other outreach ministries.
