New Faith Church of Houston
- Rev. T.R. Williams Sr., D.Min.
New Faith Church was founded in February 1977 under the leadership of Reverend Theodore Roosevelt Williams, Sr. With an initial body of fifty-two members, the church was established with a strong biblical foundation and fervent commitment to ministry. The faithful congregants exemplified New Faith’s motto: “... for the people had a mind to work”, Nehemiah 4:6. In January 1978, the membership of 142 moved to New Faith’s present location. From its inception, the church has been in accord with God’s directives, particularly in the area of ministry. Vital ministries were organized to meet the needs of the church and community. As the church membership soared, New Faith Church’s commitment to providing a meaningful worship environment that instructs and equips Christians young and old alike to fulfill the commission of Christ has not changed. Throughout its history, New Faith Church has obediently followed the directives and mandates of God and has thrived numerically, physically, and spiritually.
