Bishop Larry L. Brandon
Bishop Larry L. Brandon is the Senior Pastor of one of Shreveport’s most exciting and fastest growing churches, the Praise Temple Full Gospel Baptist Cathedral. He serves on the Bishop’s Council and as the Southern Regional Bishop for the state of Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship, International. Bishop Brandon serves as the 1st Assistant to the 3rd Presiding Bishop of the Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship, International. He was invited by the White House to be a panel guest for the Social Security Reform Effort during President George W. Bush’s visit to Shreveport, Louisiana, March 2005. Bishop Brandon participated and was the Executive Producer of the Louisiana Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship’s first State Mass Choir recording project entitled “His Name is Jesus!” Honorary Doctorate Degree of Divinity from Baptist Christian University of Shreveport, Louisiana and an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Humanities from Louisiana Baptist University of Shreveport, Louisiana. He is enrolled in the Graduate School of Episcopal Studies pursuing a Doctoral Degree in, Sacred Theology.
He is married to Co-Pastor Wanda L. Brandon. The blessings of God indeed rest on Bishop Brandon and his family, and there is no end in sight.
