A graduate of Emmanuel College, Ron Carpenter is the founder and senior pastor of Redemption World Outreach Center in Greenville, South Carolina. He founded Redemption in 1991 with three members and a passion for breaking down walls of racism, crossing cultural lines, and changing poverty mindsets in the community and around the world.
In addition to Redemption and it’s over 17,000 members, Ron provides guidance and advice to over 1,400 churches and ministries worldwide through Redemption Ministerial Fellowship International, where pastors and leaders look to him for experience, insight, advice, and perspective.
Ron is a frequent speaker at National and International Leaders conferences for Ministries and Corporate organizations and he is the best-selling author of the book, The Necessity of an Enemy. He is also the host of the weekly television program “Redemption with Ron Carpenter” which airs internationally each week into millions of homes via the internet, over 5,000 Broadcast television stations, thousands of cable networks, and on dozens of satellites covering the entire planet.
Ron possess the consistent ability to be relevant across cultures and generations, with an authentic love and compassion for helping people heal, hope, and discover their true potential.
