    “The Lord is in his holy temple, Let all the earth keep silence before him.” (Hab. 2:20)

    You may be facing some dark hours right now and the clouds, despairing at times, seem to threaten to close out the light that shines so brightly from your eternal soul. You should not let this happen, for you must remember dark hours come into the lives of all of us. One great comfort is to know that the same God who helped us before is willing to help us once more. All that God asks of us is that we truly believe—that we refuse to let anything shut Him out of our lives.

    While God will not instantly turn our dark hours into sunshine, He will give us the strength to walk on in the darkest despair, until we reach a brighter tomorrow. We cannot do this on our own, God will help us through. There are times when we might want to give up, but faith leads us to God for strength.

    Never begin a day without first putting your life in God’s hands, and looking into his face and asking for strength and guidance through the day. Start each day by saying, “Good morning God” and always remember:

    Dear Father God, Thank You so much for being faithful time and time again!  That is one thing in life that I never have to doubt.  I know that You will be faithful to me forever.  You will never leave me, You will never fail me, and You will never stop loving me!  Please help me to turn my eyes on You and away from any circumstances that is surrounding my life.  Help me to see things from Your perspective!  Yours is really the only perspective that matters!  Amen

    Faith sees the way despite the many obstacles that others see. Faith is certain. Its voice is calm and sure, confident that the things it perceives will happen and become a reality. Risks may tell you how difficult a path to be taken will be, but it is only faith that will get you across to where your heart desires to go. No mountain can ever stop you, for by faith even the waters of the sea can be parted, and even the mountains that stand in the way can be moved! Keep your eyes on God, and thank Him for the victory! (James 1:12)

    Loving Heavenly Father,

    I thank You for the Word that when I set You as my hope, You will lead me and help me to overcome my problems. I praise and thank You that the plans You have for me are for good and to give me a blessed future. When problems surround me, I will not fear because You will see me through. Grant me victory in life as You gave victory to King David. Let Your blessings flow into my life abundantly. In Jesus’ name I pray,

    Lord, pour out Your cup of blessing and grant me the joy of Your presence.
    Lord, You know the hopes of the helpless, surely You will listen to my cries and comfort me. You will bring justice to those oppressed. You are glorious dear Lord. You are the one who lifts our heads in time of utter despair. In our very hour of desperation, send joy for sadness, and laughter for tears. Send abundance of harvest when drought and famine abound on every side. Let the smile of Your face shine upon me. Help me not to live a life of distress, but replace heartache with hope. Allow me to feel Your embrace in times of loneliness and do not allow misery to prevail. Give me guidance to light the path ahead. Encourage me with Your word, revive me, and show me Your love and kindness. In Your unfailing love, spare life, and teach me to trust in You. Open my eyes to Your wonderful promises that have been fogged by doubt. Lift the heavy burdens that have me bent beneath the load, and frustrate the plans of the enemy. Heal my broken heart and bind my wounds. Set this prisoner free who has been shackled by worry and fear. Refresh Your weary servant. Send Your Spirit to hover and penetrate those areas of depression and oppression, that I may be saturated with comfort that only You can provide. Give me victory over the enemy with Your strong right arm. Break and bind any stronghold the enemy has unleashed and send them straight back to the pits of hell from where they came. Rebuke the fury and devices of the enemy, remove fear and anxiety dear Lord and help me to lie down in peace and security. Replace evil with good.
    Remove me from the mire of despair and discontentment and allow me not to sink deeper into this pit. Oh God, listen to my cry! Hear my prayer! I cry unto You for help because my heart is overwhelmed and I trust that only You can provide relief.
    Rescue Your beloved child dear Lord, have pity on me, satisfy me, and give me gladness in proportion to my former misery. Let everyone see Your miracles and Your glory at work. Show me Your approval and make my efforts successful. Set the bountiful table before me that I may feast on Your blessings of grace and love. Lord, I give you thanks for hearing my prayer in times of trouble and turmoil. You are an awesome, all powerful God and with You all things are possible. Lord, I love you and give You praise for I know that in my hour of distress that You are present and will not leave me comfortless. Thank You heavenly Father, for You are worthy of all praise and may You forever be glorified!

    Father God,
    Thank you that You will help me face the changes in my life. Thank you that You will walk with me and guide me. Help me to find purpose and meaning as You lead me through both the good and the uncomfortable seasons of life.

    “Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits.” We live a day at a time. To think of all of life’s burdens coming at once can be crushing. Remember what you have been through in your life. You’ve been through circumstances you never thought you would get through. But God brought you through. “Give us this day our daily bread” (Matt. 6:11). “And, Lord, give us this day our daily burdens and benefits.”

    God knows how much we can bear, and His grace is sufficient for each day. But there is another dimension to our burdens. God can turn them into benefits. Has He given you a heavy burden? Perhaps He wants to turn it into a benefit and do something special for you.

    Like the psalmist who prayed, “Lord, all my desire is before Thee” (Ps 38:9).
    Let our hopes for today be under the Lord Jesus—screened by Him who loves us and can work them all out if they are good for us and for all concerned.

    God will not turn away your prayer.  He will hear you.

    God will not stop showing His lovingkindness to you.

    In Jesus’ Great Commission to all of us, He said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

    Jesus is always with you, never leaving you, never turning you away.

    Jesus is always with you, always loving you, always hearing you.

    O Lord, please increase my faith so that I will trust you in all of my life’s problems. Forgive me when I disappoint you and give me faith to accept and know your forgiveness so that my guilt will truly be gone. Replace my feelings of doubt, worry, pain and guilt with your joy, peace and love. Use me to share your goodness and graciousness with others. Fill me with your Spirit so I can be loving and kind. I pray in the name of Jesus, my Lord.
    May God bless each of us as we trust him in all things today.
