Pro3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Pro 3:26 For the LORD shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken.

2Co 12:9 And he said unto Me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for My strength is made perfect in weakness.
Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in My infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon Me.

You have known in your heart that you have power.
All the power that you need is within you.
You must learn to use it.
It’s up to you to use it.
Don’t hold back on what I have given you.
You must learn to trust Me.
To trust what I have given you.
Hold on. Trust and believe promises given. I have not left you
I have not abandoned you. I am leading you, hearing and answering your prayers.
I am fulfilling promises made and will call things into line with My Word.
Whenever you are weak feast in Me.
I am Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

There are times that the Lord assigns certain tasks to us.

It is in those times that we need to trust in Him for all we need to get the job done. We must not allow the circumstances to dictate to us whether or not we will obey God. We must be obedient, and know that He is with us in all we do. He will never ask us to do anything without the way already being made. We would never allow us to fail.
It doesn’t matter that you don’t feel worthy enough. For we all have fallen short to the Glory of God. What matters is your willingness to the Lord. He has already looked beyond your faults; He knows you can do it. You must use what He has blessed you with.

You must use what is in your hands. His Word.

My beloved, why do you cry? Why do you fill your heart with gloom and hopelessness? Why do you hide from me? Why do you bear this burden that is not yours? Was the night so long you never thought it would surrender to another sunrise? Was the winter too cold you never thought you could feel warm ever again? I am deeply troubled with your troubles. I am utterly concerned that I could not sleep. I know your wounds for they are mine as well. I know your tears and I would like to take them away.
    No reply.
My beloved, it’s been so long since I heard your voice; so long since you poured out your heart to me. How I long to hear them once again. How I missed it! How I miss the songs you used to sing. How I miss you! How I yearn to enjoy your presence once more.
    No reply.
My beloved, has the world deafened the ears that used to listen to my voice? Has the noise of the world been so loud you couldn’t hear my gentle whisper? How I’d like to shout upon you like thunder! To reach out to you like the crashing waves! But it is not my way, beloved. I am not among the fire nor the lightning nor the storm. I am the soft breeze that whispers unto you with unfailing love.
I do not have the love that you have, or the patience that you have for me. I do not care if you bring me fire or thunder or rain for it is just the same! This life is not good to me. It would have been better had I not been born at all!
Why do you despise life; life that I have given you? Have I not formed you in your mother’s womb? Have I not chosen you before the birth of the earth? Have I not fashioned you intricately, passionately, wonderfully, uniquely, perfectly beyond any conceivable thought or miracle? Have I not breathed on you? Have I not given you my own heart? Have I not made you in my own glory and immortality?
I can see no beauty whatsoever in the creature that I am. There is no hope for me for I am wretched and most unfortunate of men. Men will never look upon me with admiration or respect. Men would never even notice me, for who am I? Who am I that anyone should care about me?
You say you fashioned me. You say you breathed your life unto me, but I have none. Death has more mercy for one such as me.
Why do you choose death? Why prefer darkness to light? Sorrow over joy? Despair over hope? Have I not given you freewill? Have I not given you a mind such as my own?
Freewill belongs only to those blessed upon the earth. Men such as me have no choice whatsoever. Why hope when you will be frustrated in the end? Why desire light when you cannot prevail over darkness?
My beloved, have I not given you strength? Have I not poured out Wisdom unto you? Have I not armed you with everything you need to face the battles of this world? And have I not come before you and claimed victory over the war you cannot win?
Why do you talk to me? Don’t you have any other business to take care of? Why waste your time on me when you can convince a multitude with your words? I am not your only love. I am not the only one you care about so be gone from me! I am nobody’s beloved.
Why do you not trust my heart? Do you not know the love I have for you? And why send me to the crowd when my beloved is here? I leave the ninety-nine sheep for the one I seek. For the one which can never be replaced. For the one whom I will hide in the shadow of my wings. For the one whose name is written forever in the palm of my hand.
You speak so wonderfully as though it is the truth. As though you know how I feel.
There is no truth but I. And the truth is that I have loved you so much that I despised my life so you can have yours.
What is this life you’re talking about anyway? If there is heaven, why don’t you bring me there? It is different to walk the face of the earth. It is different to face the people that I face. To struggle with the problems I’m going through. To remain standing when a thousand await for me to stumble so they can trample upon me. So they can spit on my face when they have the chance. Where is the glory you’re talking about? They do not even respect me. Where is hope when I don’t even know which road to take?
What is it that you want, my child?
    No reply.
What is it that you desire me to give you?
    No reply.
Why do you not knock upon the door which waits to be opened up for you? Why do you not ask for the grace that was meant to be yours? Why do you content yourself with garbage when you can seek a treasure, which nobody can ever take away from you?
I am just so tired and worn out. I don’t even have the strength to argue with you anymore.
Then what is it that you want, my beloved?
I’m just so lonely; I wish there could be someone to hold my hand.
He holds our hand.He carries us when we can carry on
    no more.He restores our strength.
    He renews us.
He picks up the broken pieces
    of our hearts
    and mends it
as though it were never broken at all.
God speaks, God seeks us in the darkest chambers of our hearts. God longs to hear us, to touch us and comfort us at times when we needed it most. But we are cold and tired and deaf. We hear Him knocking, but we dare not open the door. We hear Him praying, but we pretend not to have heard it, and we turn away.

It is through the most difficult trials that God often brings the sweetest discoveries of Himself.

A man went inside a telephone booth and dialed the number of a friend. When the connection was made, the friend kept saying, “I can’t hear you; speak louder; I can’t hear you.” All he could hear was the roar of traffic in the background. “Shut the door so I can hear,” he said to the caller. In order to hear God’s voice speaking to you, you’ve got to shut the door to the outside world so that its enticements won’t distract you. Doing this could change your whole life. Then when you go back into the crowd, you’ll not only be able to listen to what the world has to say, but you’ll have something to say to the world that you’ve personally heard from God.

“Today you must listen to his voice.” Hebrews 3:7

Jesus has authority over all things and He speaks through all things.

Father God, thank You for speaking to us. Help us to listen and help us to hear. You are in all things and You speak in all things.  Help each of us to warn and encourage each other to listen and keep our hearts open to You. Today, I give You my heart and I listen. I trust You will allow me to hear. Amen

God Listen to us. we are created by you. You are everywhere.

We seek, we cry. God hears and God saves. Rather than being left on our own, God desires humble dependence upon Him.

Gracious God, prayer is an amazing privilege. Though mostly I take it for granted, sometimes I’m amazed that the King of kings and Lord of lords is willing to listen to my desires and not just my praise. And there are times, Lord, when I am astounded by your answers to prayer.

But then there are other times, times when you seem to be offline, times when my prayers bounce back from the ceiling, times when my sensible requests appear to be rejected by you for no good reason. In times like these I can feel frustrated, perplexed, and angry. Most of all, I feel discouraged. I lose my desire to pray. I wonder if it really matters.

The parable of the unjust judge doesn’t answer my theological questions, that’s for sure. But it does encourage me to keep on praying even when my heart is weary. Thank you for this encouragement. Amen.

I said a prayer for you today,
And know God must have heard.
I felt the answer in my heart
    Although He spoke no word.
I didn’t ask for wealth or fame,
    I knew you wouldn’t mind.
I asked Him to send treasures
Of a far more lasting kind.
I asked that He’d be near you
At the start of each new day,
To grant you health and blessings
And friends to share your way.
I asked for happiness for you
In all things great and small,
But it was for His loving care
I prayed the most of all.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
    Is your God
    To deliver and strengthen you
    As he did your fathers—
    To help you,
    Uphold you,
    Keep you,
    Fear not: be not dismayed.
They who do know him as their God
    Shall do exploits
    And become strong.
He will still your enemies and avengers.
He will make his strength perfect
    In your weakness,
For in his hand is all power and might
To do for you exceedingly above all
    You could ask or think.
    To you he speaks,
    “I am with you,
    I am your God,
    I will help you.”

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your gracious hand that is upon me. Forgive me for my sins. Your plans have been put on my heart. Listen to my prayer O LORD. With a prayer to You in heaven I am asking for help to gain what is necessary for me to complete the plans You have given me. You are powerful and mighty and I know You will help me succeed. Amen

Remember that prayer is a dialogue, not a monologue of you talking at God. Spend as much time listening as talking. Take time to hear His answer. Be still and know what God is speaking into Your life by His Spirit.

Jesus, help me to listen to Your voice. Prepare my heart to receive and act upon Your
    answers to my prayers. Amen.

“‘I am the Lord, and there is no other Savior. First I predicted your deliverance; I declared what I would do, and then I did it — I saved you. No foreign god has ever done this before. You are witnesses that I am the only God,’ says the Lord. ‘From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can oppose what I do. No one can reverse my actions — I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea. I called forth the mighty army of Egypt with all its chariots and horses. I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned, their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick. But forget all that — it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do a brand—new thing. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness for my people to come home. I will create rivers for them in the desert! The wild animals in the fields will thank me, the jackals and ostriches, too, for giving them water in the wilderness. Yes, I will make springs in the desert, so that my chosen people can be refreshed.’” Isaiah 43:11—13, 16—20

Somewhere along the way, God’s people walked away from His love and His way. Although their history was alive with the memories of His mighty hand — they walked away in unbelief. After years of dealing with these people as a nation, God was ready to do something different — He was going to set in motion His plan to be a personal Father to them. By sending His Son to light the way for the promised Holy Spirit, He would provide Living Water for their dry spells of discouragement and make personal connection with His people.

How often God reached out for a relationship with His people. If you are a person who suffers rejection — get ready for the ride of your life. If you are a person who suffers alone — get ready for joy unspeakable. If you are a person who feels unloved — get ready to better know the One who is love!

God is moving in a mighty way — all across the earth. He is preparing His church — His bride — for His return. It is time to make the connection of hope to hurting people, and that includes you and me. God wants us to KNOW Him! He wants us to fall in love with Jesus Christ and in so doing, we will fall in love with our Creator. When we begin to recognize Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as being fully active and fully alive in our lives — we have connection — to genuine resurrection power!

There truly is Hope in His Hands!

Dear Lord, as I come to you today, I ask of you to please guide me in all my works in what I will say and in what I will do. And I ask for the Holy Spirit to come into me and help me discern on what is right and what is wrong. Without your guidance, everything will fail. To you my God, at this very moment, I leave everything to you. Help me Lord as I can not do this by myself. and in everything I say and do today, I give them all back to you for the Honor and Glory of your name. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.
