But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Just think about the eagle, during storms it can fly in the midst of it. The current of the wind carries it and it glides right along with the storm, amazing, truly amazing. I thought about how the crows that nip at the eagles talons when soaring. The eagle must soar higher to flee from the crows. Just as when the enemy is trying to nip at us ..the closer we are to Jesus and the higher up we strive, the enemy becomes but just a speck in view.

Seek him and you will find him. Look to him and he will guide and direct your paths.  God Says…. I am everything you need, I will guide you, I lead you and direct your steps, I will show you in the way to go, provide for you, give you peace, take your affliction, remove your anxiety and heal your pain.

HE will give you purpose and goes beyond hope to very real promises, protection and strength. Open Eyes Will See and they shall be carried by the arms of the Lord.

You know, when we choose to LOOK UP to Jesus, no matter what our circumstances, life tends to LOOK UP after all.

If we aren’t looking up to Jesus, where are we looking? We are looking down to Satan, and I don’t want to look there! So, I keep LOOKING UP…I want to encourage you to do the same through God’s Word.

Did you know Jesus CALLS us to LOOK UP?
Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to happen, LOOK UP and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Luke 21:27-28

LOOKING for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.
    Titus 2:13-14

If I can’t LOOK UP it is because of my sins, and I must ADMIT my sins to Jesus…
For innumerable evils have surrounded me; My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to LOOK UP; They are more than the hairs of my head; Therefore my heart fails me. Psalm 40:12

While we are waiting for Jesus to return, He CALLS us to LOOK UP to Him as an example of how to live our lives…
If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are ABOVE, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:1-2

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:8-9

…You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming… 2 Peter 3:11-12

And He CALLS us to be ready for His return…
Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Luke 12:40

Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”
    Luke 18:8

For you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
    1 Thessalonians 5:2

UNDERSTAND how God has helped you to LOOK UP to Him each day…
I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2

Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress,So our eyes look to the LORD our God, Until He has mercy on us.
    Psalm 123:1-2

And He PROMISES that one day while we are LOOKING UP He will come again…
And He said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, hereafter you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of Man.” John 1:52

Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven. Acts 1:11

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. Revelation 1:7

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, And look on the earth beneath. For the heavens will vanish away like smoke, The earth will grow old like a garment, And those who dwell in it will die in like manner; But My salvation will be forever, And My righteousness will not be abolished. Isaiah 51:6

I will carry you…saith the Lord…I will lift you up in My arms and carry you over whatever comes…I am able to lift you saith the Lord and carry you over to My will…to love and bless you…in spite of all that seems to be going wrong…I am He that rights all wrongs …saith the Lord.

I am He that carries My people from bondage to freedom…from sickness to healing…I am here to carry you…saith the Lord…

In My arms…I am gathering My own…there are now those who will not refuse Me
I’m here to take you over the troubled waters…and over the treacherous terrain of your generation…the wearing down to cause you to drown…I will not allow …saith the Lord.

As the valleys are lifted up and the mountains are brought low…I will carry you My beloved faithful bride…your eyes shall see the rise and fall of many in this hour…yet those who run to Me…I shall open…for them…a stronghold that towers over all that is about to unfold.

I will not be robed of the appointed day for My sons and daughters to arise and be seen among the people of the world…I shall carry you to the victories that you have believed Me for…even if you hands have grown weak…I am not weak saith the Lord.

Even if your eyes have grown dim…My eyes remain clear…My wings of love are coming now for you in this hour…I shall make a search over all the land and sea…I am come to look for thee…saith the Lord…I will gather you up in My arms and carry you as a mother carries an infant child…I will carry you to the heights where eagles soar…I will carry you as a bridegroom carries his bride over the threshold.

I am come …with healing in My wings for you…I am come with strength and might to recharge you and charge you …and release through you… a power beyond your understanding.

I am looking now…My eyes are on you My beloved…I am coming now to carry you to the place you cannot go to…apart from Me…from there you will see all that I have spoken to you of…come to pass…saith the Lord”

Lord, let me follow after you wholeheartedly – full of your Spirit. Please make me like Caleb, who wasn’t afraid of the enemy or how things looked. Instead, he trusted in you, believing in what you had said and your ability to defeat the enemy. Grant me faith in you and courage to go forward to take hold of my inheritance in you. Protect me from discouragement, fear and unbelief. I am not relying on myself. I am relying on you for everything. I am relying on your wisdom, your strength and your perseverance. Do whatever it takes to keep me walking in complete dependence on you! Your grace is sufficient for me. I have felt so weak and tired lately – empty and incapable. I thank you for even this because it reminds me that you are my Perfect Provision. In you I have everything I need! Fill me with you, Lord. As I decrease, may you increase until you take up every space! My body is weak, so I am relying on your Spirit. Keep me awake and alert. Help me to pray. Pray for me and through me. Lead me on your path. When I am tired, carry me. Build me up on you and in you. I love you, O Lord, my strength! You are my Life now and forevermore! In Jesus’ name – Amen.

    We can overcome by faith:
Faith in God’s Character—that he is good and makes no mistake
Faith in God’s Word—that it is true no matter what happens to us
Faith in God’s Purpose—that he is conforming us to the image of Jesus Christ
Faith in God’s Promise—that he will never give us more than we can bear
Faith in God’s Presence—that is with us in the darkest moments of life
Faith in God’s Power—that he can deliver us from every temptation

There is one other kind of faith that will help us in hard times. That is the shared faith of God’s people. So many of us struggle because we try to handle our problems alone. But God never meant that you should walk through the lonely valley by yourself. Hebrews 10:24 says, “Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.”

Where does your security lie? Is God your refuge, your hiding place, your stronghold, your shepherd, your counselor, your friend, your redeemer, your saviour, your guide? If He is, you don’t need to search any further for security.” ― Elisabeth Elliot

We have four anchors that will secure us in the raging storms of life. They are called faith, hope, love or resting on the Rock of Ages.

To rise above the storms of life we must put faith in God’s promises. His Word is an anchor of the soul. Should the economy come crashing down; we have God’s promise to supply all of our needs, if we will trust in Him (Philippians 4:19, Matthew 6:25-34). If disease roars in fury, Jesus is our healer (Psalm 103:3, Isaiah 53:5). For every fear, God has a promise. For every trauma, He holds a triumph.

In darkness, Jesus is the light. In trouble, He is our helper. In weeping, He is joy. In confusion, He is certainty. In suffering, He is hope. In a crisis, He is unshakable. The strength to go through is not found in us, but in Him. Paul told them, “take courage, for I believe God” (Acts 27:25).

Another anchor for our soul is hope. “They cast four anchors from the stern and wished for day” (Acts 27:29). Jesus is hope (I Timothy 1:1). His Word will bring hope. “As a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the day star arises in your hearts” (II Peter 1:19). Paul’s prescription for good mental health involved setting our mind on things above (Colossians 3:2). He then told us what to set our mind on (Philippians 4:8). Invite the Holy Spirit, the God of Hope to fill you (Romans 15:4, 13).

Another anchor in the storm is God’s love for you. You must realize God loves you and will never let you go. He longs to embrace you with his love. When I was a child I was afraid to go out to the coal shed alone for a bucket of coal. In the dark I imagined all kinds of monsters were lurking out there. But when my dad went with me, I had no fear. I knew because he loved me that he would protect me. “Perfect love casts out all fear” (I John 4:18).

If you will surrender yourself to God and love Him, He promises to be with you. “Because he has loved me, therefore, I will deliver him; I will set him securely on high. He will call upon me. I will be with him in trouble; I will rescue him” (Psalm 91:14-15).

Another anchor for the soul is resting on the rock of ages. Safety, security, comfort, courage, and hope are found in Jesus. Whatever we need we can go to the rock of ages our salvation. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth be removed and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea” (Psalm 46:1, 2).

When Paul’s ship broke up on the rocks, the sailors and prisoners grabbed planks and various things from the ship and swam or floated safely to land (Acts 17:44). Friend, if you are in a storm you can rest on Jesus. He will carry you through. Let Him be your hope and help (Psalm 107:28-30).

Jesus says, “Come unto me, all who are weary and heavy-laden and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28-30). You don’t have to carry your heavy burden alone. Give it to Jesus and rest in His hope.

Father in the name of Jesus, I bless your great and awesome day today. I give you all the glory, honor and love. You Lord you are so great and wonderful to me. I thank you so much and I am so grateful to you Lord for this day. Thank you Father! Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you! I cannot thank you enough for allowing me to see this day Lord what a great and wonderful Father you are to me.  This day Lord I say to you. You are the potter and I am the clay, make and mold me into what you have had in mind for me to be from the foundation of the world. I will keep my eyes on you. I will keep my face turned toward you Lord. I will not look to the right, I will not look to the left, but rather, my eyes will be fixed completely and wholly on you Father God. I thank you Lord for everything that you are doing in my life. I can say to you Lord it has at times been very painful and then at times it’s been full of joy. But one thing I do know, You never left me. You’ve never forsaken me. You have always been with me and even carried me when I could not go any further. I thank you Lord for health and healing. I thank you Lord for your protection. I am so grateful to you Lord that I can feel your presence and guidance in my life. I thank you Lord that you hear my prayers and you answer me when I call. You Lord have been and are so good and great to me. I don’t deserve all that you do for me but you do for me any way. I am so thankful to you Father for your love. You love me without limits and without conditions. You just love me. I am so happy, grateful and thankful to have your love Lord. I thank you for your goodness and mercy. I thank you for your favor and I ask this day Father that you would give me wisdom and understanding in your ways, in your word and that you would cause my heart to be completely inclined toward you, that I will walk upright before you. My heart will be filled to overflowing with your word, that all my mouth will speak is your word, and write your word on the table of my heart Lord. Teach me the ways of your statutes and give me understanding to keep and observe your law. Open the eyes of my heart to see you more clearly. Open my ears Lord to hear you more clearly. Create in me a clean heart Lord and renew a right spirit within me. I want to know you more, more and more and draw me nearer to you.  Nearer my God to thee make me Lord a vessel of honor that you will use for your glory. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“I cry out to God Most High, to God who will fulfill his purpose for me. He will send help from heaven to rescue me.” Psalms 57:2-3

    I HAVE A PURPOSE . . . . . .

I visualize myself yearning to know your purpose. There are times I can sense an emptiness, a grief over a sense of my own insignificance. And so I yearn. When I am feeling low God comes by and calls me by name. He puts His arm around me and begins to tell me all about the purpose He has for my life. Feeling the joy in knowing that I was created for a purpose. Feeling the peace that comes from knowing that God loves me and has always had me in His plans. I rejoice and affirm, “I have a purpose.”

Psalm 139(NIV): “Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the Heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.”

Like a loving Father, God offers us a hand to hold in life’s darkest hours. He’ll carry us through the darkness, and lead us where we need to go.

The word of the Lord for you today is to trust Him with all your heart. Do not lean to your own understanding. Acknowledge Him in all your ways and decisions. When you do, He promises to direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Have a happy and prosperous New Year!

I rely on God in every difficult situation and God has incredibly blessed. Not in the way I expected, but He used some totally unexpected ways and people to bless me during the troubles. I want to encourage you to bring your troubles, pains, struggles to God. Continue to trust Him even when a situation seems hopeless. He hasn’t failed to let me know in many ways He’s miraculously in control of all things. When I let “disasters” become the focus, life hits hard, and soon I am filled with worry and doubts. When I meet each struggle with faith in God, I am made stronger in my faith and blessed by how God is at work in all the details.

So, when troubles hit hard turn to God and be patient.
Just stand strong, don’t run, for there isn’t anyone that He’s ever let down when their lives have been faithful.

Praying you are filled with God’s blessings when you meet your “disaster” face to faith.

Lord: Good morning,  Thank you for joining us this morning. You know I am always here for you, no matter what time of the day or the night.

Whenever my children need me, I am there for them. I am often accused of not being there, and as a result someone dies, just like on the occasion of the death of Lazarus! Even my very good friend, who knew me so well, said, “If you had been here my brother would not have died!” I want to assure you all that no-one suffers or dies in this world alone. I am always there with them, as they go through the depths, or as they pass over. You may not be aware of me, but that is usually because you are not tuned into me. No one passes into life after life, alone. Nor can I be accused of not knowing the suffering of man. I feel every sadness, pain and anguish every man, woman and child feels. The big difference is that, though they feel it only for a time, I feel it for all eternity!

This is the reason the Cross of Jesus is so important to mankind, for it was on that hideous cross that I suffered all, yes all, the pains and sufferings of mankind in every age, from Adam to the end of time. I suffered it all, in order to take it away from you! That is why I want you all to lay your sin and all your sufferings there at the foot of the Cross, and to leave them there. They are no longer yours, but mine! I want you to walk on from the Cross, unburdened and free, so that you can enter into life. I don’t offer it for tomorrow, but for today, for now. There is no reason why anyone, reading this word, should walk away from me still burdened by sin. Lay down your burden now at the foot of my Cross!

I hear your cry to me, “How Lord? How do I lay it down when I have carried it so long?” Dear one, it is simple. Confess that sin, tell me about it and don’t hold back. I will not be shocked or surprised; I already know about it! But you need to confess it before me and repent. With the realisation that sin is clinging to you, comes the desire I give you, to be free of it. However hard you shake and wriggle, it clings to you and you will soon realise that you need the help of Someone Else. That is the moment of repentance, when you cry out, “Help me!” At that moment Jesus, my beloved Son, steps down from the Cross and removes the burden from you, taking it on his own shoulders. You never need to carry it again, once He has taken it away.

The Cross of Jesus has been the salvation of millions of ordinary men, women and children, from every nation, tribe and people, down the last 2,000 years. It still has the same power it had on the day of the Crucifixion, and Jesus is still there in the world with you, lifting burdens and carrying all your sins and sufferings. No one dies alone, and no one suffers alone. I am with you always, right to the close of the age!

    I love you.

SHARING AND REFLECTING. . .(Part 1 of 2)

I’m excited for New Year 2012, not for the celebration part but for the sense that it’s a time for change, resolutions, new beginnings, new endings, and just so many possibilities. We are entering a new year, a new decade, and there is something hauntingly exciting about that. I’ve never been one for making or keeping resolutions but I feel like this 2012 is by God’s grace going to be a breath of fresh air for me. It is a time to let go of everything that has happened in 2011 and give ourselves a chance to make things different for 2012. I have all these dreams. hopes and expectations for 2012 not just for myself but for my family. I want 2012 to be a year filled with blessings upon blessings for all of us, a year of miracles and love for this world and the people in it. I just want our world to let the light in and let’s get rid of all this evil polluting our lives.

I hope that 2012 is a year filled with good health for me and my family. He knows all the dreams and desires of my heart, and I know I have many wonderful years ahead for me. I am looking forward to 2012 as a beginning of a new journey, a year of growth and love, a year of self-discovery and appreciation. I fell so filled with hope for 2012 that it is hard to explain it all. I have been holding my breath for most of 2011 and I am praying to God that 2012 will be a year without any of these worries, fears, burdens, or disappointments.

I keep thinking about things I want to change about myself and my life in 2012, and it comes down to my beliefs and my relationship with God. I want to just give him everything. All of my heart, fears, desires, worries, hopes, dreams…everything and anything. I want to believe that in God’s time I will meet the man He created just for me. I want to believe that I will not have my life cut short by any sickness on this earth. I want to believe that anyplace I go to God is beside me guiding me with his wisdom and shielding me from harm. I want to believe in myself, and in the things I can offer this world. I want to believe that 2012 will be a year of blessings and happiness, that no sadness with come into my home or in my family. I want to believe that I will find clarity as far as my career goes. I want to believe that My Heavenly Father will provide me gainful employment with a full-time position with a good pay and benefits that He sees fit for me. I want to believe in myself, in my beauty, in my worthiness, in my ability, in my dreams. I don’t want to let anyone or anything define me. I want to be the one defining who I am and the life I lead step by step, day by day.

I want to let God in past my barriers, and let him be absorbed into my soul. I want Him beside me in everything I do and everywhere I go. I am not going to let fear dictate my life, control my dreams, or keep me from reaching my goals. I am going to learn to let go of those who leave me behind, to forgive those who have broken pieces of my heart, and to open my heart to those who would want to cherish it. I want to believe in my worthiness when it comes to my love, career, and everyday life. I want to stop putting myself down and pushing God away from me.

I want to find that faith I used to have in this world, in God, and in myself, and live the life I have imagined. I want to life filled with love, laughter, hope, dreams, and smiles. A life that I create with each day and each step I take. I want a life I can find and create my happiness in. I don’t want to keep hiding in the shadows, afraid to step into the light. No, I want to feel that warm light seep inside of me and release me from my bindings. I want to allow myself to be happy, to stop being worried. I want to stop trying to please others. Stop trying to be someone I am not, and instead embrace and love the person I am.

I want to take back control of my life, and steer it in a direction of my choosing. I deserve to be happy, to be loved, to be cherished, to be protected, and most of all I deserve to feel alive. I don’t want to pretend anymore to be someone I am not. I want to be seen for who I am and who I want to be. I want to give myself time to figure it out, to figure me out. I want to break down the walls trapping me in this dark place. I want to be free, to close my eyes and soar through this life. I want people to see me as I am in all my flawed beauty. I want to let love in, if it is God’s will. To not ache or search for love, but to live my life and trust that in the right time all those things will fall into place. That is the kind of faith and hope I want to have again.

SHARING AND REFLECTING. . .(Part 2 of 2)

I want 2012 to be a year for me, a year of positive change, new journeys, and lots of positive self-discovery. I want 2012 to be a year of liberation from my scars, burdens, fears, and self-criticism. I want 2012 to be a year for me to transform, find, and create myself into the person I was always supposed to be. I don’t want to limit who I am, where I can go, or what I can do anymore. I want to take a risk and see what happens. I want to find the strength to always stay true to myself, and know there is nothing wrong with just being me.

To all THE STREAMINGFAITH Brothers and Sisters, I pray that 2012 is a year filled with blessings, good health, miracles, and happiness for all of you. I wish you every happiness and opportunity that life offers you. I pray for you to have love, family, and true friends in your life. I wish for you to let go of whatever or whoever is holding you back from being you and finding/creating your happiness. I wish you peace and joy in this New Year.

I pray for all of you that 2012 is a year of no resolutions, just change. A year of liberation, confidence, happiness, and lots of love. I pray that whatever you are going through, whoever you are, and wherever you are that God blesses you in the way you need. That you find yourself, create yourself and love yourself the way you didn’t in 2011. That all the bad things fade away in the abundance of good things. I pray for your health, happiness, and success. May God meet you at the point of your need and bless you abundantly.

    BE BLESSED AND AMEN!
