New Mercies Christian Church 2010 Crowned Jewels Women’s Conference
Published: May 14, 2010
New Mercies Christian Church is getting ready for their 8th annual Crowned Jewels Women's Conference, held June 11-13. This year's theme is entitled, "Unlocking the Kingdom Within." The Honorable Judge Penny Reynolds will serve as this year's conference key note speaker.
For over eight years the New Mercies Crowned Jewels Women's conference has grown to become one of the premiere events in Gwinnett County, attracting more than four thousand Women since its inception in 2002. Spearheaded by New Mercies Christian Church First Lady, Aleana Curney, the conference was birthed out of her desire to help women take time out of their hectic lives and carve out a weekend of fellowship, rejuvenation and, most of all, self discovery.
The 2010 Conference will focus on topics such as Kingdom Forgiveness, Roles, Authority and Relationships. The weekend will feature focused workshops, intimate class sessions, panel discussions and two dynamic sessions with the conference key note speaker, Judge Penny Reynolds.
"I'm extremely excited about this year's conference and to announce that the dynamic, honorable Judge Penny Reynolds will be our key note speaker," announced Mrs. Curney. "As women we take time to nurture everyone around us but rarely do we take the time that we need for ourselves. This conference gives us the opportunity to refresh our spirits, be encouraged by our dynamic featured speakers and teachers, relax, laugh and fellowship with other women in a Christ centered environment. This will be an event that Women won't want to miss!"
New Mercies Crowned Jewels conference is hosted by First Lady Aleana Curney along with New Mercies Sr. Pastor, Jesse Curney, III, who is slated to deliver a message to the women and the entire congregation at the close of the conference on Sunday, June 13th.
